Choosing a battery

Start with the load and the system voltage — not with the biggest number on the page.

Should I choose 12V or 24V?
Keep 12V if the rest of the system is 12V (existing RV, small boat, 12V fridge). Choose 24V when you want the same power at half the current: longer cable runs, larger inverters and fewer parallel batteries. Do not put 24V models in series.
12V 100Ah or 12V 314Ah — which one?
100Ah is the weekend/short-trip pack: lighter, easier to swap, enough for lights, a fridge and modest inverter use. 314Ah is for full-time vans and long runtime — about three times the energy, a 200A BMS instead of 100A, but 26.5kg and a larger bay. Check the compartment size before you choose.
How much capacity do I need for an RV?
Work in watt-hours, not amp-hours. List each load (watts × hours per day), add them up, add about 30% margin, then divide by system voltage and 80% depth of discharge. A typical weekend van uses 0.8–1.5kWh/day; a full-time van with an induction cooktop and Starlink often needs 2–4kWh/day. The sizing calculator on the product page does the arithmetic for you.
Can I mix different capacities or old and new batteries in one bank?
No. Mixing capacity, age or brand makes the packs share current unevenly; the smaller or older pack works harder and the bank ages faster. Use the same model, same age and similar state of charge. Each BMS protects its own battery, not the whole string.

Charging

LiFePO4 needs a lithium profile. A lead-acid charger with equalisation is not a substitute.

What charger should I use?
Use a charger with a LiFePO4 / lithium profile. The 12V models are specified at 14.4 ± 0.2V CC/CV; for 24V, confirm the profile with us before charging. Avoid lead-acid equalisation, desulphation or temperature-compensation modes.
Can I charge from the vehicle alternator?
Only through a LiFePO4-compatible DC-DC charger, not directly from a smart alternator. The BMS protects the battery; it is not a charge controller and will not limit alternator current for you.
Can I charge with solar?
Yes, with an MPPT controller set to a LiFePO4 profile. Size the array within the recommended charge current; the 12V 100Ah model lists 20A recommended and 100A maximum continuous charge. Do not exceed the model’s maximum charge current.
Can I charge below 0°C?
No. Charging stops at 0 ± 5°C and resumes at 10 ± 5°C. Discharging is allowed down to −20 ± 5°C, but capacity and current are reduced when cold. Warm the battery above freezing before charging.
03

Wiring & installation

Cable, fuse and bank limits are safety items — when in doubt, use a qualified installer.

What cable size and fuse do I need?
Size the cable for the maximum current and the round-trip length, and fit a fuse on the positive terminal as close to the battery as practical. There is no single gauge that fits every inverter; your installer should calculate it from the actual load and cable run.
What are the series and parallel limits?
12V models: maximum 4S4P (four in series, four in parallel). 24V models: maximum 1S4P — parallel only, never in series. Use equal cable lengths and bring every battery to a similar state of charge before paralleling.
What terminal torque should I use?
The terminals are M8 bolts. Follow the torque specification of your lug and terminal supplier; we do not publish a single torque figure because it depends on the hardware. Over-torquing can damage the terminal or the case.
Can I mount the battery sideways or in a sealed box?
The case is IP65, not submersible. Mount it secured and upright where practical, away from direct engine/ exhaust heat, with some ventilation around the case. Check local electrical codes and the vehicle/boat manufacturer’s rules before installing.
04

Cold weather & storage

Discharging in the cold is allowed; charging a frozen battery is not.

Can I discharge the battery below freezing?
Yes, down to −20 ± 5°C. Expect lower capacity and available current while the pack is cold; it recovers as it warms. Charging is the part that is blocked below 0°C.
Does it have self-heating?
No. The listed models do not have self-heating. If you need to charge in freezing conditions, keep the battery in a heated space or warm it above 0°C first.
How should I store it for winter?
Store at about 50–60% state of charge in a dry place between 0 and 25°C, and top it up every 3–6 months. Do not store it empty or fully charged for months, and do not charge it while frozen.
05

BMS, protection & app

A BMS shutdown is a protection event, not necessarily a failed battery.

Why did the BMS shut the battery off?
The usual causes are over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short circuit or temperature protection. The app shows the protection event and the cell values at the time. Remove the load or charger, let the pack rest, then reconnect.
How do I recover it after protection?
Disconnect all loads and chargers, wait a minute or two, then recharge with a compatible LiFePO4 charger. If the battery stays at 0V or will not wake, stop and contact support — do not jump-start it or open the case.
What does the app show?
State of charge, pack voltage, charge/discharge current, power, temperature, individual cell voltages, cell spread, balancing status, cycle count and a timeline of protection events. It connects over Bluetooth Low Energy; there is no account and no cloud upload.
Does it balance the cells?
The smart BMS uses passive balancing. Keep the battery on a full charge periodically so balancing has time to work. A large, persistent cell spread should be checked by support rather than forced with repeated full charges.

Orders, shipping & support

Retail runs through Amazon; wholesale and export run through our sales team.

Where can I buy?
Retail orders are fulfilled through Amazon in the United States. The listing link is being set up; until it is live, use the contact page and we will point you to the current channel. This website does not take payments.
Do you supply wholesale or export orders?
Yes. Tell us the destination market, expected volume, required certifications and target ship date. We will confirm availability, documents and commercial terms in writing. UN38.3 test summaries are available for the listed models.
What is the warranty?
Warranty is handled through the original purchase channel. We do not publish a fixed term on this site; keep your order number and battery serial number, and contact us with both if something goes wrong.
Where can I get a datasheet or manual?
The current user manual is available at /manuals/ (marked as a preview draft until v1.0 is signed off). For the datasheet of the exact model, ask us with the model and serial number ready.
Which certificates can you provide?
For the listed packs: CE, UN38.3, Level 9, IEC 62133, RoHS and UL94 V-0 case material; for the cells: UL1642, UL2580 and UN38.3. Copies are available on request. We do not claim UL1973, UL9540A, IEC 62619 or IEC 62933 unless the certificate is provided for the exact model.

Still need an answer?

Tell us the model, the load and the destination market — we will answer with the datasheet, not a guess.

Need a bank sized for your load?

Use the sizing calculator on the product page, or send us the load list and we will check the autonomy, inverter surge and recharge time.
